Some more energy saving ideas

I was finally getting through my comments... I know WAAAY late.  I apologize for taking so long.

In one of them there is a link to a BBC News page that has more ideas on how to save Energy.

Here is a list of some of the topics are:

• Don't leave appliances on standby
• Unplug chargers when not in use
• Turn off lights when leaving rooms
• Wash clothes at lower temperatures
• Turn the thermostat down

I would like to hear more ideas on how you can save energy.

How do I start being green?

That is the prime question.  How do you start?  Well, here is what my plan is:

1. Research the easy things to do
2. Implement them
3. Blog my experience

Seems easy, huh?  I am sure it is not nearly as easy as that.  Before I started the site, a friend of mine e-mailed me some information about being green.  I am sure most of you have seen this information. More...
